This is Molly Henkes. Molly is calm and patient, and she is also wise and encouraging. It has been awesome to watch the Lord grow her in community and in knowledge of Him this year!
The past year or so has shown me beyond measure just how much depth there is to my life, or rather the Lord’s life for me. My first year of college has proven to me that the opportunities I have are endless and that the path I take in life could go in ANY direction at any given time. However, it can be so overwhelming to try to embrace all of this at once, so recently I’ve been working on living in the moment and simply being present. I’ve struggled with worrying and focusing so much on the future, mostly things that I have absolutely no control over, and have come to realize that I’ve been missing out on the good things that God has placed right in front of me. I’ve learned just to focus on today and enjoy each precious moment and let tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year fall into place when the time comes, because once today is gone, we can never get it back.
