MK is someone that radiates sunshine and joy and rainbows. She is compassionate, a wonderful friend to her people, and a brilliant soul. And the way she sees the Lord is truly beautiful.
I have been planning my future my entire life. Future grad schools, careers, relationships. I never realized that I had pulled myself so far away from the present until I took a step back, unwillingly but ultimately for the better, and I saw a version of myself that was so hyper-focused on success in the future that I hadn’t even stopped to appreciate what I have right in front of me. During this time away from school, I’ve realized the value of giving yourself time. I recently heard Sadie Robertson Huff say that you don’t have to sprint through life & your relationship with God. God has shown me that life isn’t about worrying about the future or what job you’re going to have in 10 years, but it’s about living in the moment and enjoying the blessings you have around you in the present. My advice is to appreciate what you’ve been given and along the way, your future will pan out the way it’s supposed to.
