Jack is one of the most welcoming people I have ever met. He carries a compassion and desire to follow the call the Lord has set on his life, he points everything to Jesus, and it is so clear to me how much of his life he has surrendered to the Lord. Plus, his brand of weirdness (and his gift for accents) brings insane amounts of laughter into any situation.
God is the goal. He is the gain. To know him and worship him is the deepest fulfillment & satisfaction. My desire, & I’m not there yet, is to wake up & live every day with genuine worship, joy, & thankfulness, despite the circumstances, just because I know him. And to know him is enough. He is the greatest treasure we can have. And he is absolutely worthy of all the praise we can give him. If nothing else I hope that my life gives him glory. I only have it because he gave it to me. I only have anything because he graciously gave it to me. A life spent glorifying God is a life best spent.
