Abby was a friend crush from day 1 of Jamaica for sure. She is a fun-loving and hilarious human who raises the energy level of a room. She is also someone who cares deeply and loves intentionally. I’m truly inspired by the joyful way she walks through life. I cannot wait to walk alongside her in just a few months when we live in the same city again!
Recently God has shown up in the little things. He’s shown me his faithfulness through friendships, sunshine and vulnerability. He’s shown me his peace, how to rest in his presence, and the importance of prayer and drawing near to him in times of loneliness and change. Change is a scary and uncomfortable thing, but God brings great things out of these times. When we’re vulnerable with God, our faith grows and we gain endurance in our walk with him!
James 1:2-12 is a passage I’ve been resting in these past few weeks because it challenges us and pushes our faith to trust God’s faithfulness and goodness when we don’t understand what’s going on in these unprecedented times. Lean into Him and He will draw near to you! The more you seek the more you will find- and what better time to seek Him than now!
