I get to share a home with this one and I cannot express in words how excited I am to get to be around her joyful spirit all the time. Madison has loved me well since before she even really knew me. I do not say those words lightly – I have never felt anything less than fully seen by Madison, even when we’d barely met. Her presence has such a comforting effect on people, and the way she cares for those around her is powerful!
In this season, perspective has been a key word for me. I think the Lord wants to give us all eyes to see things the way He sees them. Whether that be other people, situations we’re in, struggles we’re going through, or anything else. We often forget that God sees everything in a bigger picture, while we’re so focused on the short-term. I think God wants to give us all a new perspective in whatever season we are in, because if we look at people and relationships and struggles and life the way God does, our time in this world will be so much sweeter and we will be able to truly live our lives for the Lord!
