If you ever see me jumping up and down at Wesley there is about a 50% chance it is because I am running over to go say hi to Lindsay. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Lindsay is a joy to be around, a fierce lover of her people and a wonderful encourager. The Lord is moving actively through her life and it is so evident! She is wise and compassionate and she leaves an impact on everyone she comes in contact with. She is someone I wish I could be around all the time simply because of how influential her joy is.
Venture to see the beauty in life. Recently I have found so much joy in discovering something beautiful in every person I come in contact with. Whether it be a brother, sister, parent, or friend, there is a lovely aspect to each and every life. God created every person in His own image. He looks to our hearts as our source of beauty. I believe that speaking from the heart and seeing one another through the heart, as God does, is just one way to let love consume our existence. If we could all simply aim for getting to know a heart instead of stopping at the surface, this world would be filled with so much more grace and peace. So, sit with your people and appreciate their beauty. Listen to new folks that you meet and hear their beauty. Just love with your heart and other hearts will shoot love right back.
