Gracie Hall has been my rock for about a year now. She is the person I cannot keep anything from no matter how hard I try, she is my go-to dinner buddy (we’ve probably been to Frutta Bowls 50 times), and she is the one I have forcibly brought with me on the rollercoaster that is my emotions. Gracie has certainly seen me at my worst, but instead of running away she has been there to offer her bed and some well-timed snuggles at the end of some really rough days. She is one of the most positive people I know, her love for Jesus is contagious, and the way she loves people is one of a kind. Love and miss u deeply soul sista.
God has been showing me a lot of what it looks like to crave more in this season of life. We should never pause our relationship with Christ, because think about how much more He wants to give us if only we would ask! Take a step towards the uncomfortable. Ask God to reveal Himself in ways you have never experienced. Be bold in conversation with Him and be pleasantly surprised. It is hard to to take a break without taking a spiritual break as well. God never wants that for us because He does great works in the still moments of our lives. So ask God for more today, whatever that means for you, and see what He has to offer. I know for me it can be tough to ask that from God because it is scary to hear what He may say, but never doubt that what you hear from God is crafted for you alone. He will never present something to you that you cannot handle. Find joy in knowing that he always has more! Hebrews 4:16 tells us to draw near to Him in confidence so that we may receive from Him. I have been learning a lot about what God can do when you approach Him like this. Remember that His love for us is indescribable and he wants us to receive every part of who He is!
