Maddie and I had one of my favorite introductions of 2019 and I will never let her forget it: she loves silly bandz probably more than me and we bonded over this immediately! Maddie effortlessly captures the intersection between fun and wisdom. She is all-around lovely to be around and I wish I could see her every day of my life.
Be curious about everything and everyone. There is such a wide variety of people and opportunities that await us, especially here at college! Be curious about your hall mates and your class mates and your teachers- you will learn so much and it shows them you care! Be curious about your career and how to manage your time better and how to eat healthier! Be curious about God and about what the Bible actually means and what living a Christian life looks like. If you you see something you admire in others ask them about it! A curious, teachable mind is something I feel like the Lord keeps pointing me towards! Through being curious, you can explore what you have passion in! Curiosity breeds passion and empathy!! It keeps life exciting and sharpens our thoughts.
