The best way I can describe Kyong is that he’s a character. He makes those around him cry from laughing, he is SO joyful (I mean, look at that smile), and yet he is so wise! Kyong and I are friends because we both wore blow-up costumes to frat beach, and I think that’s really special.
Stop comparing. When you get to college and even throughout your years there, it’s natural to compare your college life with another person, whether it’s your spiritual growth, academic success, or even your social life. The best way to think about it is that you have your own unique life. Just think about how boring it would be if everyone was going through the same season of life and doing the same thing! Or if everyone had the same depth of relationship with each other: who would we get to meet? So, to sum it all up, you always lose in the comparison game. Be happy in other’s successes & be proud of your own successes.
