This is Fabi.
Fabi and his wife Mabe served as my host family during my month-long mission trip in Ecuador. Fabi is kind, hilarious, and desires to truly and deeply know others. It is so clear to everyone he comes into contact with how deeply he loves the Lord, and the wisdom he spoke into my life during that month is unmatched!
God is a protector. It’s so incredible how God protects us from the things that worm their way into our hearts, things that make us start destroying ourselves. God protects us from situations, but God also always pays attention to the circumstances and the ideas that surround us. If the thoughts you are surrounded by are not helping you, God can help you to destroy those ideas and let what He wants in. Oftentimes, it is not what we want but what is really good for us and what can build us up. God is in the dark nights and dark moments but He is a redeemer: He redeems the idea of love.
