Maggie O’Leary

Maggie is a woman of much wisdom and power. I went swinging with her once. I learned a lot. She told me about her rule of 3– not to make loose commitments to a wide variety of things but to commit wholly and fully to things you can fully invest your heart in. She told me a lot of other things, too. Time in her presence is so cherished and special. If you made it this far, I suggest you read her words over and over and over. This woman is an endless fountain of wisdom!

Pay attention to your life. It’s not in sitting in your phone or resting in your worry or laying in the hands of someone who fails time and time again to see your worth. It’s in front of you. So wake. UP. Pay attention to what’s outside your window and how you treat people and the beauty of extraordinary ordinary moments. Pay attention to your best friend’s laugh and how it feels to kiss someone and what people say when they speak to you. Pay attention to who you’re with and where you are and what you’re doing when you’re at your best. Pay attention. In my experience, life tends to be a lot more special when you do.
