This is Mabe Erazo.
I met Mabe in July of 2018 on a month-long mission trip to Ecuador. Mabe and her husband Fabi live in Quito, where their ministry is to serve as a host family to countless numbers of missionaries. When I asked her for her piece of wisdom, she opened her message by telling me they currently had 37 missionaries living in their house. Mabe is one of the most obedient women I know when it comes to following the Lord’s command over her life.
I think the most important thing that I have learned is to listen to His voice and to obey Him. This is because when you are truly in His perfect will, then you can know without any doubts that things are going to follow according to His good plan. It may not necessarily be what WE think is best, but it means to be obedient and carry out His will. This is something very important that has changed my life- to do exactly what He has called me to do, nothing more and nothing less, but simply to do what He has told me.
